Day Three of 3D Design

The Final day of 3D Design we focused on creating a product fit to a certain criteria. we were asked to design and construct a bridge within a group. however the bring must only consist of two points which touch the ground, the bridge must be higher that the table and it must be able to fit a specific car.

First we were asked to design a few bridge designs, however instead of sketching it , we were asked to construct it from our books using paper.

I really enjoyed doing this task and photographing it.

Then came the constructing process! within my group we just began to improvise with the materials given. Using my technique from the previous day, I was able to introduce my team members to ways of securing a base for the bridge.

We liked the idea of creating a tunnel ... so we began to experiment with this idea further.

The bridge was a success, however the care did fall off a few times. There were some advantages and disadvantages to the bridge. A disadvantage being that the sides were not designed well enough to keep the car on the track. An advantage is that the bridge was unique compared to all the other groups!
